There will be a $5 charge for all Summit Road parking lots east of Rt. 261. All vehicles with valid Kent State University parking permits will be allowed to park for free. All Summit lots west of Rt. 261 will remain free of charge.
Indoor & Outdoor Tailgate (Click here for a diagram of the pregame Fan Experience in the Field House)
Join your fellow Golden Flashes fans for a pre-game tailgate experience both inside and outside the Kent State Field House located on the east side of Dix Stadium. Beginning two-and-a-half hours before every home football game, the Fan Experience will offer a variety of activities for all ages. It will feature food & beverages from a diverse selection of vendors, picnic areas, inflatables for kids, live college football games on TV, interactive games, giveaways, special offers from our sponsors, visits from Flash, as well as the opportunity to meet Golden Flash coaches and student-athletes. Parking lots open three hours prior to kickoff, and group party packages are also available. Be sure to greet the team as part of the "Flash Walk" two hours prior to kickoff -- as coach Hazell will address the crowd at this time!

Kent State Football Gameday Policies
Please conduct yourself in an appropriate manner. Our attitudes and actions not only reflect upon our individual character but also the character of our university as a whole. As Golden Flashes, it is essential to initiate and foster a friendly and welcoming environment for all to portray our university with the pride and respect it deserves. While you cheer on our team, please keep these ideals in mind and prove that Kent State has the best fans in the Mid-American Conference.

Aisle Traffic/Section
Guests are urged to arrive at their seats well in advance of kickoff. As a courtesy to other guests, please remain at your seat until the play has ended.
Alcohol Policy
Outside alcoholic beverages are NOT permitted in Dix Stadium. Guests identified with alcohol not purchased inside the stadium may be ejected and will have the alcohol confiscated. Possession and consumption of alcohol in the stadium parking areas are subject to the laws and regulations of the State of Ohio and/or City of Kent. Police and Liquor Control Agents patrol these areas and enforce all applicable laws.
Baby Changing/Nursing Mothers
All of the restrooms in Dix Stadium are equipped with diaper-changing tables.
Bags
Bags larger than 14" x 14" are prohibited in Dix Stadium. Guests attempting to enter Dix Stadium with a larger bag will be asked to return it to their vehicle. All bags are subject to search.
Banners, Posters, and Signs
Banners, posters and signs are prohibited in Dix Stadium. Guests will be asked to return them to their vehicle or dispose of them upon entry.
Cameras
Cameras are permitted in Dix Stadium. At no time may photography interfere with other guests.

Concessions
There are concession stands located in the east and west concourses and the south end zone of Dix Stadium.
Credit Cards/FlashCards
Credit cards are not accepted in Dix Stadium. Student FlashCards are accepted at the concession stands.

Elevators
An elevator is located on the west side of Dix Stadium. It services, the press box, the President’s Loge and the Blue and Gold Loge.
Emergencies and Evacuation Procedures
In the event of a serious emergency, all event staff, ushers, law enforcement and fire and emergency personnel are available to assist guests, including those with disabilities. Information could also be provided over the public address system and on the stadium scoreboards.
Game Programs
Game programs are on sale for each game.
Gates Open
Dix Stadium gates open 60 minutes prior to kickoff. The pregame activities in the field house begin 2 ½ hours prior to game time.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found is located in ticket office located in the west entrance. Any unclaimed items will be moved to the Athletic Ticket Office in the M.A.C. Center.
Lost Persons
Any report of a lost person will be acted on immediately by event personnel to locate and return the person to his or her parent(s), guardian(s) or companion(s). Guests should contact any Law Enforcement Officer, Usher or Event Staff for prompt initiation of lost person search procedures. If a parent, guardian or companion is not located, the lost person will be taken to the base of the elevator behind the west stands for further efforts in locating the parent(s), guardian(s) or companion(s).
Medical Emergency
If assistance is needed in the stands, please contact the nearest Usher, Concession Worker, Law Enforcement Officer or Kent Fire Department Paramedic.
Merchandise
Authentic Kent State merchandise may be purchased at the base of the elevator located behind the west stands. There is an additional stand located behind the east stands. For additional merchandise, please visit www.kentstatesports.com.
National Anthem
The Kent State University Marching Band plays the National Anthem as part of their pre-game show.
Pets/Service Animals
Animals, except for trained K-9 dogs or service animals assisting disabled visitors, are not permitted in Dix Stadium.
Playing Field
Guests may not enter the playing field at any time before or during the game. VIOLATORS ARE SUBJECT TO ARREST AND MAY BE PROSECUTED. Children will be allowed to play on the field after the game, provided that they are accompanied by an adult.
Prohibited Items
The following items are not permitted in Dix Stadium: 
Alcohol, Baby Strollers, Bags (larger than 14" x 14"), Balls, Banners, Beverages, Bottles, Containers, Weapons, Drugs, Fireworks, Flags, Food, Frisbees, Ice chests, Irritants, Knives, Noisemakers, Picnic baskets, Televisions or Radios without headsets, Signs, Thermoses and Video Recorders.
Prohibited Behavior
Examples of prohibited behavior include, but are not limited to: throwing objects of any kind; demonstrating unruly behavior; attempting to enter the field of play; engaging in behavior that endangers the safety of student-athletes, coaches, officials or other guests; attempting to climb the goal posts; removing Dix Stadium turf; and/or taunting public safety officials. Consequences for guests exhibiting prohibited behavior include, but are not limited to: loss of ticket buying privileges, ejection from the Stadium, and/or arrest.
Public Announcements
Special announcements on the public address system are limited to medical and police emergencies.
Radio Broadcasts
The flagship station for Kent State football games is WNIR 100.1 FM.
Radios and Televisions
Handheld radios and televisions are permitted as long as you listen with an earpiece or headphone.
Re-Entry
Guests will NOT be permitted to re-enter Dix Stadium once they leave.
Restrooms
Men's and Women's restrooms are located at each of the four corners of Dix Stadium.
Security Checks
All bags, containers or persons are subject to search. Cooperation with game management and security personnel will help maintain Dix Stadium as a safe and secure environment for all guests.
Scoreboard Messaging
Dix Stadium can display birthday, anniversary or other personal messages on the scoreboard. Please contact the Kent State Athletic Marketing Office at (330) 672-8414.
Smoking Policy
Smoking is prohibited in all areas within the gates of Dix Stadium.
Solicitation/Literature
Setting up a promotional space and/or distributing banners, booklets, business cards, circulars, commercial advertising, flyers, folders, handbills, leaflets, notices, pamphlets, posters, stickers, or any other written, printed and/or painted materials in or around Dix Stadium and campus without the permission of Kent State University Department of Athletics is prohibited.
Tailgating
All tailgating activities in the Dix Stadium parking areas are subject to the laws and regulations of the State of Ohio and/or the City of Kent Police. The use of propane tanks in tailgating is encouraged. Glass and kegs are not permitted in the Stadium lots.
Parking spaces are available on the day of the game on a first-come, first-served basis. Stadium parking lots open three hours prior to game time. Parking in the Dix Stadium east and west lots are accessible via permit or by paying $5 on game day. Free parking is available in the lots on Summit Street west of Route 261. Shuttle service is available from those lots.
Tailgating activities should not take up vacant parking spaces or interfere with traffic flow within Stadium parking lots. Drive lanes in parking lots must be maintained at all times. Parking permit holders are responsible for the functions they host in their parking spaces.
Umbrellas
Guests use umbrellas in the seating areas of Dix Stadium, permitting they do not interfere with sightlines of other guests.
Ushers
Guests should contact the nearest usher for assistance in seating locations, medical emergencies, or for anything else that might make the visit more enjoyable.
Water Fountains
Water fountains are located at each restroom location within Dix Stadium.
